Here is a clip of skater Jake Brown falling from almost 50ft on the Mega Ramp last year at Summer X. I know, I know…this is a BIKING BLOG, but I want you to watch his so you can understand the danger level involved in this unnecessary contest.
I really hope someone [...]

X-Games starts tonight. TV coverage begins with the pre-show at 8pm/EST, followed by two hours of coverage til 11pm/EST. I’m simultaneously excited and repulsed by X-Games. On one hand, you will see some of the highest quality BMX trick riding ever, including the debut of several new tricks. On the other hand, you will see [...]

I’m thinking about buying this 2003 Giant Modem. It’s $85. It is no where near the quality of BMX bike I want buy, but budget limitations make it sort of a reasonable choice.
The upsides:

Yesterday I headed over to Addictive Cycles to pick up a tube for the ol GT Performer. While I was there Hodge sorted me out with an ancient used tire…in fact he handed me the whole wheel from some repair they must have done a zillion years ago…it was some sort of metal mag wheel! [...]

I haven’t posted a shot of a bike being tarted up by a girl-tron lately, so heres one I found over at the BMX Museum:
Brittany is buffing the stem pad on what apears to be a Haro Master although I kind of don’t remember them making one with integrated threads for pegs. Maybe this is [...]
