injury report

Well, I am going to be of the bike for at least a couple of days. I seem to have damaged the calf muscle in my left leg. Its bad enough that I can’t put anywhere near my full weight on it.
All I did was jump out of the stret bowl at Duncan Creek, which [...]

skatepark roots

A couple of nights ago I was feling all nostalgic and decided to search around and see if I could find some pics of my old stomping grounds from “back in the day”. I was pretty suprised to actually find some!
The first concrete park I ever rode was an old busted late 70’s era park [...]

One of the interesting things about this event, is that the time margin between the gold and silver [...]

Olympic BMX quarterfinals

Okayyyyyy, so the coverage -finally- came on. As a commentor pointed out, the coverage was LIVE which is why it got the nosebleed timeslot…I am pretty sure it was about 12:30a EST when I saw the first race. No worries…staying up late isn’t that tough.
Basically, Mike Day freakin dominated. He just tore through the course. [...]

Olympic BMX racing tonight!

From what I can tell, the coverage starts at 9pm, but NBC has been kinda dodgy about the schedule, so best to tune in early and plan to stay late
