long time, no tart

Its been a while since I posted any tarts. I’m really wondering what the deal is with those “X-Wing Fighter Gray” tires? How about that background….the corner of the warehouse with the utility boxes HELL YEAH! I’d love to know the story behind this kind of photo…was it the end result of a drunken escapade, or just some sort of an attempt at arty seriousness? Regardless shorty is kind of bangin’ even though the thong and the grips are not color coordinated.

Once again, this is a photo that I ganked from someone eses more highly trafficked blog, but I forgot to write down whose it was, so I cannot give credit. I’m trying to work on that for next time. Chances are the place I found it probably found it somewhere else etc etc, you know how the internet works…

I haven’t come across any amatuer tarted up babe-n-bike photos lately…but I did come across this bonafide professional shot for a KHE ad. Its that leather or PVC? Regardless, she is going to have to trade in those heels for some more realistic shoes before she goes grinding any handrails. $ex $ells I ‘spose…

In other news, I need to get up to speed on the US Olympic Track Cycling team goings on and who’s who. Lets not forget that there will be some mountain biking there too as far as I know. Unfortunately I have been bogged down with a zillion tons of school work. Maybe someone can fill me in or direct me to an all inclusive link to the proper info…

Tart shot vs h20 weapon vehicle

I haven’t posted a shot of a bike being tarted up by a girl-tron lately, so heres one I found over at the BMX Museum:

Name Removed is buffing the stem pad on what apears to be a Haro Master although I kind of don’t remember them making one with integrated threads for pegs. Maybe this is a General…didn’t General make a Haro Master clone? I could be wrong on that.

I’m giving some points for the lightning bolt seat, but they are negated by the ridiculous height the seatpost is adjusted to. Clearly this bike is a display piece because that post would bent the first time you sat on it.  I’d like to remind you that I post bikeTarts not because I think they are particulaly hot, but because it amuses me that at some point people decide that they want -enhance- a pic of a bike by popping their g/f in it, or integrate babe-trons into the pics they post when trying to sell bike parts in hopes it will increase the value. The results are usually hilarious.
