X-games BMX stuff has been pretty much what I expected so far. Except BMX Park. The look on Daniel Dhers face after he didn’t make the cut to the finals was just priceless. Not hatin on him, it was just interesting because he has had such a lock on it for so long.
Anyway, big ups [...]

First off, you need to know that Nigel Sylvester’s Gatorade BMX demo session will be at Mama’s in Buford tomorrow at 5pm. You need to be there. I will be there. I’m going to be a smartass and ride my fixed gear there. Big ups to Mystic Negro for the heads up on the tour [...]

…was going to happen eventually. Here is a pic of one of some dood doing some kind of trick on a fixed gear that appears to utilize a peg on the front. You never really get a good shot to see if there really is a peg on the front axle, but he would have [...]

For a while I just watched, but eventually [...]

I bet it is a lot tougher on a fixed than on [...]

I’d love to be going to this:
WHISTLER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—After celebrating a year of milestones in 2008 including more than 800,000 webcast and online content views, the first-ever double backflip at a major mountain bike competition and the birth of the Giant Slalom and the VW Trick Showdown, Kokanee Crankworx is ready to blow the [...]

A new system called ISX is being rolled out for real-time scoring at action sports events. I’m sort of skeptical about this. Hell I am skeptical about the scoring of events based on doing tricks in general, because unless you have been a rider and tried to do some of the tricks, you will probably [...]

Saturday I loaded up the pooj’ and headed to Atlanta to check out the BMX Jam at Coan Middle school and Downhill Challenge Soapbox race at Starlight Drive In. The weather was not terribly nice…blustery cold wind and it actually rained most of the drive to town. We weren’t 100% sure we were going to [...]
